Tells the story of a cobbler who finds one of Brownie Lightfoot's magic slippers.  The eventually he agrees to return the slipper with the understanding that the person who made shoes for the Brownies, Fairies and Pixies would teach the cobbler how to make shoes.  The cobbler wrote down all the things which he was taught and one day, many years later, a good doctor found the book, learned from it and called the shoes Simplex Flexies...
Very heavy wear.
Pages are connected but loose from the cover.  No handwriting.  Has age dirt, smudges and stains.   Spine edge has chewing.
