    Description

From the Miocene, Hawthorne formation and found near Valdosta, Georgia. Extracted from a river bottom in 2019. Weighs about 57 pounds on a bathroom scale. A sister piece that weighs approximately 14 pounds is included with the specimen as it came apart from it during removal. It is shown in the last picture. A great piece for a museum or a lover of large agatized coral display pieces. Due to slow and problematic shipping that seems to be ongoing and the incredible amount of packing care and luck to safely ship this item, I am only offering local pickup on this specimen. I also have some other larger specimens available for the buyer's consideration if so desired. Thanks for looking!
