    CONTROL NIGHT AND DAY OPERATING TIMES
    Many CDS machines came with a mechanical timer built inside the right panel that allowed the operator to program when the machine would automatically move from day mode (ICE) to night mode (CHILL) and back.  This is necessary to allow the product to melt each day to prevent continual operation which causes large ice crystals.
    This timer can be used a replacement for a bad timer or added to a machine that never had a timer by following the wiring diagram.
