    Description

    Hardystonite, willemite fluorescent minerals four color, Franklin, NJ.  Hand-sized specimen of gray hardystonite, plus willemite, clinohedrite, minor calcite, andradite, and franklinite.  Fluorescent violet blue, green, orange, and a bit of red in shortwave UV light; there is one fresh face on this rock, with exposed clinohedrite vein, that actually fluoresces really well under longwave UV, and under a LW UV LED, it’s as bright as SW!


    Cabinet specimen, measures 3 1/4 inches x 2 1/2 x 1 3/4 inches, and weighs 1 pound 4 ounces.
