Each coin is hand carved one at a time with only hand tools I made myself and a pair of reading glass. We do it the old-fashion way. No high power magnifying devices or air engraver just a hammer and small chisels.

currency transformed into a hobo coin. Each coin of this design are number one to 100 and will discontinue when we reach #99. Number #001 and #100 will be kept for my son baby Max so he may do with them as he pleases.

This coin has now become a work of art and has increased in its value and will keep on increasing as years to come. I have personally seen hobo coins sell for thousands of dollars each day. Coins that were older than dirt and modern hobo coins of today. The prices of hobo nickels cover a wide range, with some starting under and going well into the hundreds of dollars, and certain prized examples costing as much as several thousand. I've been carving coins for approximately six months now and I would have to say this is a hobby that I really enjoy. I am a single dad raising a five-year-old on my own since he was three weeks old. Myself and baby Max take pride in our work we have been working together on this project since the beginning. It's a new year and we decided to step things up a little more to see if this could become a good part-time profession.
