It was issued to Corporal Karoly Bekesi, who served in the Royal Hungarian Defence Forces in ww2 as an armored car driver and later a squad leader. He received his military training between 1936-38. He was first mobilized in 1939 to participate in the Slovakian Campaign of 1939 and in 1940 to recapture Transylvania from Romania in the autumn of 1940. Later he fought against the Soviet
Red Army in the Eastern Front
from 1941-43. The military ID was issued in 1959 with several details on his previous service.
