Very rare Tugtupite and combined fluorite which is nicely tenebrescent and phosphorescent. Only a few of these pieces have been recovered. We searched for years for this combination. We finally found a few pieces near the mine on Kvanefleld. They have not been found elsewhere. The fluorite pops very nicely under LW and with the proper balance of SW and LW, offers a striking display of blue and red.
Tugtupite is a very rare mineral - found in only three places around the world. Pieces from Greenland are the most sought after due to rarity, size and brightness.
