Northwood Peacocks on the Fence Carnival Glass Plate, Electric Blue, Ribbed Back
Beautiful round plate with a ribbed back and sawtooth edge. The molded design features a pair of peacocks perched on a fence, with flower sprigs trailing along the bottom and side. Blue base color glass with gorgeaous bright blue iridescence and purple and gold highlights. Classice era carnival glass, introduced around 1911-1912.
Condition:  No chips, cracks or repairs. The iridescence is in excellent condition, with almost no wear on the inside of the plate and just a few spots of light discoloration above the peacocks. A few small light wear marks on the high points of the ribs on the back side.
Marks:  N circle mark.
Dimensions:  9 1/4" wide, 1 3/4" deep.

Both the white and black background photos were taken under the same lighting, only the background color was changed. How the iridescence will look in your home will depend on your unique background colors and lighting conditions.
