This item in my EBAY store is a NORTHWOOD  "NIPPON"  GREEN CARNIVAL GLASS EIGHT RUFFLE BOWL.   This NORTHWOOD "NIPPON" ruffled bowl is antique glass that has survived well over 100 years of survival and because of age has now become a beautiful family heirloom;   This green carnival glass NORTHWOOD  "NIPPON"  eight ruffle bowl is in excellent condition having NO chips, cracks, scratches and no glass staining;   I may also add that this NORTHWOOD  "NIPPON"  GREEN CARNIVAL GLASS EIGHT RUFFLE BOWL is an early vintage NORTHWOOD antique carnival glass eight ruffle "NIPPON" bowl that has been used and displayed over many years and still remains in beautiful heirloom condition, surely the couple of people who have once owned this beauty surely cherrished this piece of NORTHWOOD glass according to the condition this "NIPPON" bowl remains in today;   As you can see in the photos, this "NIPPON" bowl is marked with the famous NORTHWOOD trade mark with the "N" underlined in a circle;   There is NO damage or roughness to the many points that are serrated around the tip of this ruffled bowl, all points are smooth to the finger feel;
As you can see by the photos, the iridescence is very even over this bowl, no matter which angle I photographed this "NIPPON" bowl the COLOR and iridescence can be seen in my numerous photos taken, this COLOR and iridescence is at NORTHWOOD'S best, the back secondary pattern is the popular "BASKET WEAVE" pattern, a NORTHWOOD pattern sought out by collectors;   This NORTHWOOD green carnival glass "NIPPON" eight ruffle shaped bowl that I have here does have the early carnival glass era characteristics of the early carnival glass making process having stress marks, straw marks, and air bubbles sometimes seen inside the glass of early carnival glass, these characteristics are from the production process and is NOT considered damage, this info I just mentioned to you is all shown in my numerous photos taken but any questions at all please e-mail me;
