unique 1937-D Buffalo hobo nickel carving was sculpted by artist Howard Thomas. The coin features a wolf stalking in the dark of night. The artist titled this piece, “Hungry Like A Wolf”. The eye is highly polished and is reflective, as if moonlight were reflecting off the eye. The attention to detail on this piece is truly stunning, far superior to other available hand carved coins. The artist’s signature – TH – is etched into the bottom left corner. The wolf represents the spirit of American individualism and success. This coin is a one of a kind unique piece of art.
