?This is an ORIGINAL "Service Discharge Wallet" containing a grouping of paper ephemera belonging to Glen R. Lockwood.  The wallet was given to Lockwood as a Christmas gift from a friend "John" and the gift tag was still with it (see close-up images below) and the wallet had Lockwood's initials ("G.R.L.") embossed on the cover.  Lockwood (Serial Number O-667314) kept his "Pilot and Crew Member Physical Record Card" in the wallet, showing entries for pilot qualification and vaccinations in 1943-44.  He apparently was also stationed at Barksdale Field, Louisiana at some point, since two coupon books for bottles of bourbon he kept in the "O" club were also in the wallet, kept as a souvenir. None of the wallet's "Redi-Record Visible" cards were ever filled in by Lockwood.  Even so, the provenance and war record of Lockwood may be researchable on Ancestry.com or one of the other veterans research services.
The wallet is made of leatherette, rather than real leather, which was in short supply during the War.  The case is in MINT condition with pristine foil gold lettering.  The physical card and other paper ephemera are also in excellent condition.
