ORIGINAL WORLD WAR TWO - 1950'S U.S. NAVY OFFICER PAPERWORK TO INCLUDE 3 SIGNED FORRESTAL DOCUMENTS.  This paperwork lot dates this Officer's service from 1944-1958.  He served with the rank of Ensign (and then post war with the rank of Lieutenant) aboard the U.S.S. Minneapolis.  The highlights of this lot are two documents signed, and one letter written, by the Secretary of the Navy James Forrestal.  One document is dated 1945 and the other document & letter are dated 1946.  The original mailing envelope is stapled to the letter.  All 3 of these documents contain authentic "live" signatures of Forrestal.  The other paperwork features certificates for graduating from various Naval courses & institutes, separation paperwork, certificate of service card, 1945-1946 dated officer mess coupon books (mostly empty, 1 is from Pearl Harbor) and a 1950 dated Officer Mess card.  The lot is in overall very good condition showing some various degrees of age & wear.
