Description
This leaflet was delivered by Allied aircraft to Thailand during May of 1945.  It advised the Thai citizens that the war in Europe was over and that the Allies would now be concentrating on defeating Japan.  Code CTM-53. 18 x 13 cm. This was a popular leaflet and was produced in several languages. The basic translation for this leaflet is: Japan is next! Unconditional surrender is Japan's only choice. Germany has surrendered unconditionally and the war in Europe is over.  Japan must face the full might of the United Nations alone. In a statement on May 8th, 1945, President Truman advised that "The war will go on until Japan is defeated!"  Shipping includes insurance on Domestic sales.  Every where else in the world is sent International First Class.
