    Description

    GOOD LUCK
Blue Pie Crust Edge (PCE) Carnival Glass Bowl (Ribbed Back)
    c. 1908
    Made by the
    Harry C. Northwood Glass, Co.
    Wheeling, West Virginia
    Approximate Dimensions:
    9" (Diameter)
    2" (High)
    3.5" (Base Diameter)
This is a jaw-dropping blue carnival  glass bowl featuring the pattern "
    Good Luck
" by the Harry C. Northwood Glass Company of Wheeling, West Virginia, circa 1908. The backside  pattern is "
    Ribbed
    ."
The iridescence is excellent with virtually no rub or wear.  The articulation of the pattern is likewise excellent, sharp and crisp and unmarred.  No chips, cracks, or repairs.   There are the usual internal air bubbles and straw marks (shearing tool  marks) commonly associated with the hand manufacturing of old carnival  and opalescent glass.  Each piece of old carnival glass is unique,  no two are exactly alike.
Simply beautiful! A truly wonderful find.
