Vintage Rare 1930s Clown Cigarettes Advertising Thermometer.
This advertising thermometer is the early glass covered on metal frame.
There slogan was You’ll never know how good Clown Cigarettes are till you touch a match to one.
Made by Aston ~ Fisher Tobacco Co. Inc. Manufacturers ~ Louisville, Kentucky.
The thermometer was made by Standard Thermometer Co. Boston Mass. USA
Condition ~ This Antique thermometer is in good working condition. I put it outside and it went up to 88 degrees which was right and put it in refrigerator and it went to 45 degrees. The glass is not broken. The metal does have very light pitting. It does have some water mark on inside that I have shown in pictures.
Last one I saw sold was for 5.00 over 10 years ago.
