Vintage MURPHSYBORO IL Bottling Co Bar Supplies Beer Advertising Thermometer

For sale is an early antique wooden MURPHYSBORO BOTTLING CO out of MURPHYSBORO IL advertising thermometer.  This is a neat piece advertising for old bar glassware, corks, flasks, etc.  What a neat piece.  As you can see though the writing on the top of the thermometer has faded a lot.  I am unsure if there is something you can rub onto the wood to help the writing pop out more, I will leave that up to the buyer to test.  There is some paint overspray on it. The thermometer could use a replacement tube.  This is a neat piece of advertising that is a good size and hard to find.  It is an old antique original piece from early times from a great old beer bottling co.
