    Description

    A great attic find and genuine piece or WWll history! This is a vintage  U.S. Navy issue hydrographic chart  showing the west coast of Kyushu and Nagasaki in Japan . This map is a 1st edition printing dated  August 1945, which was right after the bombs were dropped, ultimately resulting in the surrender of Japan. It measures 29" w x 22" h. There are some stains, pinholes in corners, vertical crease in the middle of the chart from being folded in half, a tear at the top of the vertical crease, and other signs of age. A true and rare item of WWll history!
