    Description

    Vintage Blaw-Knox Advertising Thermometer in very good condition; thermometer is marked "THE CHOICE OF PAVING PROFESSIONALS" and 'FACTORY SCHOOL  MATTOON, IL".   Blaw-Knox is a manufacturer of road paving equipment.  The company was created in 1917 from the merger of Blaw Collapsible Steel alnd the Knox Pressed and Welded Steel Company.  It was sold to new owners in 1968.
    The thermometer measures 14" x 4.5" and works very well.
