    Description

Vintage Northwood (Carnival) Marigold Depression Glass Cigar Tobacco Humidor w/Lid - RARE - 7.25” x 6.5"
Stippled Grape & Cable Thumbprint Iridescent Opalescent Design Pattern "Grape & Cable"
    Weighs 4 lbs. 4 oz. - SIGNED
This beautiful canister makes an elegant statement.  It is in very good condition and measures 7.25” high with lid on and approximately 6.5” across.  The pattern is "Grape & Cable".
This can also be used for cookies, candies, condiments, nuts, buttons and trinkets.   There are the normal few bubbles in the glass and straw marks but that is now these humidors came.
This was never used to hold tobacco, so you can use it to store anything you wish.
It has the company N underlined on the bottom and is made of a thick heavy glass and a heavy piece.
Marigold is a rare color for these glass items.  The leaves are stippled.  Inside the lid one of the prongs is missing as most of these humidors have one, two or even all three prongs broken off (see picture) but still can be used for lots of uses.  In the stippled variety these used to fetch 0.00 to 0.00 or more.  Having the original lid is rare and they seldom have all the sponge prongs.  This one is missing just one prong.
This is a wonderful addition to your collection!
Northwood Grape and Cable Carnival glass humidors are collectible items produced in the US by the Northwood Glass Co. during the first quarter of the 20th century. Not
    all
Northwood are marked, but this one is!

    International Shipping:
International buyers may email me for shipping prices to their country.  As per Ebay Policy, I must include the following (I never experienced any of these policy problems myself, but they have to be included in my description):  Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges.  These charges are the buyer’s responsibility, so please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.  These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up so please do not confuse them for additional shipping charges.  I do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as ‘gifts’ as US and International government regulations prohibit doing this.
