    Rock has been cut and polished on one side
    A crack shows on the polished side.

    As is the case with all fluorescent mineral specimens, a good quality UV lamp of adequate output and appropriate wavelength (short wave vs. long wave) is required to see the fluorescent response depicted in the photographs.  An ordinary "black light"

    work for these minerals.
