Original copy of the "Armored Attacker"  Semi Monthly paper of the 6th Armored Division.
This is Volume 1 No 4, Saturday May 5, 1945.
Top story "21,000 Prisoners Are Liberated By Division At Buchenwald" - "Many Atrocities Revealed".
4 Doughboys of the 6th Armored got in through a hole in the fence.  They were met by the healthiest of the prisoners, and told of the horrors that occurred there.  They only stayed an hour as they had to meet up with their outfit, and never saw the condition of the bulk of the prisoners.
Paper is a single page folded.  Measures approx 17" x 24" unfolded.
Condition as seen in the pictures. Paper is getting brittle, some writing and holes at the folds.
Found in a scrapbook from a Los Angeles Estate Sale.
